Refund and Cancellation Policy

ChungDoi believes in transparent refunds. Below is what qualifies for a refund, what does not, and how to submit a request.

1. Scope

  • This policy applies to the paid online wedding invitation service offered by ChungDoi (chungdoi.com) worldwide.
  • ChungDoi's service is a digital good: the invitation is activated and delivered immediately after successful payment.
  • The policy covers all payment processors we support: SePay, Paymentwall, and LemonSqueezy.

2. When refunds are available

  • Duplicate charges caused by a technical error (for example, you were charged twice for the same invitation).
  • A critical outage that cannot be resolved within 7 days of being reported and that prevents you from using the invitation you paid for.
  • Unauthorized charges on your account, when you did not initiate the transaction and report it within 48 hours.
  • Transactions that were never activated or never finalized by the bank (some cases where cancellation happens before the invitation is delivered).

3. When refunds are not available

  • The invitation has already been activated and used (since this is a digital good, we cannot revoke access after delivery).
  • Change of mind after successful payment (for example, postponing the wedding or choosing a different template).
  • Your guests did not view the invitation, or your wedding event did not proceed as planned.
  • Errors caused by the user's or a guest's device or browser that are outside ChungDoi's control.
  • Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the payment date.

4. How to request a refund

  • Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Refund request, [Transaction ID]".
  • Include: transaction ID, payment date, amount, the processor used, and the reason for the request.
  • Attach screenshots of the receipt or the bank notification when possible.
  • ChungDoi will verify and respond within 3 business days.

5. Processing time

  • Review of the request: within 3 business days of receiving complete information.
  • Once approved, funds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days (depending on the processor and issuing bank).
  • Paymentwall (international cards): 5 to 14 business days per the card issuer's policy.
  • Processor transaction fees (if any) are not refundable.

6. Cancelling before payment completes

  • You can cancel a payment at any time before the transaction is confirmed. Simply close the payment window; no charge will apply.
  • If you scanned the QR code but did not transfer the funds, the transaction expires automatically after 15 minutes.
